The National Working Committee (NWC) of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has approved the appointment of Hon. Bamidele Olubunmi Ayodele (BOA) and other Atikulated Global Movement (AGM) AGM leaders and members across states as members of the PDP National Campaign Council (NCC) for the 2023 Kogi State governorship election.
Hon. BOA is a LGA coordinator of the AGM and immediate past candidate of the PDP to Ondo State House of Assembly.
This is contained in a letter of appointment dated July 23 and signed by PDP Acting National Chairman, Amb. Umar Ilya Damagun.
According to the letter, Ayodele’s appointment is in recognition of the broad support he enjoys among the leadership of the party and its teaming supporters.
“It is therefore, our hope that your exemplary qualities and contribution to the success of the council will justify the confidence reposed in you by the leadership of our party,” Damagun said.
Ayodele is a progressive banker and a small scale businesses expert cum politician who enjoys a great support from the good people of Ifedore Constituency because of his maturity, experience, skills and selflessness.
Ayodele is a fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants (IMC), and a certified management consultant and business development services provider.
BOA, among others, is a member of the International Association of Community Development (IACD) and Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) FISCAL POLICY AND TAX REFORMS COMMITTEE.
It is believed in many quarters the the prosperity mantra of BOA will drive his commitments to this new assignment as “it is in his culture to ensure a superlative success for the PDP in Kogi Guber and other states elections in November this year”.
This appointment will afford Hon. Bamidele to work hand in hand with senior party members, strategists, policy advisors and communication experts who made up the campaign council.
Their primary responsibility would be to assist in formulating and implementing an effective campaign strategy that resonates with voters across Kogi State.
Meanwhile, the NCC plays a vital role in coordinating various campaign efforts, such as policy development, media engagements, grassroots moblization, fundraising and public outreach
