Yesterday, December 24, 2024, a team from ASM Agrovest visited the IDP Camp at Mangu LGA, Bungha, to donate food items to victims of the recent crisis. The team’s mission was to provide relief to at least 1020 people, approximately 250 households, and bring some joy to their Christmas celebration.
During the visit, Mr. Linus Pankyes Micah, Director at ASM Agrovest, commended the camp officials for their efforts and encouraged them to continue in their faith. The Managing Director of ASM Agrovest, Mr. Stephen Vwaman who led the delegation, commiserated with the Mwaghavul Nation over the demise of the MDA Vice President and assured them of the organization’s continued support.
This visit marked the third time ASM Agrovest has visited the IDP camp this year, demonstrating the organization’s commitment to the plight of those affected by terror. The team assured the camp officials that they would continue to visit until the IDP camp ceases to exist and all individuals returned to their livelihood
ASM Agrovest also hinted at plans to launch new initiatives supporting Nigeria’s food supply system in the coming year and requested prayers for the success of these endeavors. Mr. Markus, receiving the donated items on behalf of the camp officials, thanked ASM Agrovest for their sympathetic disposition towards these victims and prayed for God’s blessings and open doors.
The visit was described as a divine arrangement, according to him, as many had no idea how they would celebrate Christmas with their loved ones. The timely intervention by ASM Agrovest brought hope and joy to the IDP camp, and the organization remains committed to supporting those in need.
