Naira appreciation, trading at N771.69 to $1
On Thursday, the official market exchange rate for the naira was N771.69, showing an increase in value versus the dollar.
On Thursday, FRESH GIST learned that the Naira had marginally strengthened to N898.6/$1 from N901/$1 the day before.
On Thursday, the open indicative rate was N777.82 to $1. Prior to settling at N771.69 in the course of the day’s trade, the spot exchange rate to the dollar reached a high of N799.90.
