The Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) Presidential nominee, Atiku Abubakar, has developed ways to mobilise significant votes across the nation, according to an organisation called “The United Nigeria Movement (UNM)”.
Alhaji Abubakar El-Nafaty, the movement’s national chairman, revealed it in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday in Abuja.
El-Nafaty asserted that the former vice president was still Nigeria’s best bet, adding that “he has the capacity to unite people, put together the ideal team from all over the nation, and give everyone a sense of belonging”.
The group was already mobilising the electorate in Nigeria to vote for Atiku, according to the chairman, who said this in coordination with other organisations.
He declared: “We are going to visit Kaduna, Kano, Bauchi and Gombe states this week and open our chapters in every state of the federation.
We will combine with party apparatuses in all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory. This will help us strengthen our relationships with the general public. We already have structures in place; this we will connect with them and get started right away.
El-Nafaty added that the group would create brief video clips and publish them to YouTube in a variety of languages, including English, Hausa, Fulfude, Kanuri, Yoruba and other languages.
To further inform the people as to why Atiku is the “best Presidential candidate for Nigeria, “he declared:
The scripts and video will be completed by the end of this month.
Additionally, we will plan a seminar or host a “evening with Atiku” where we can sit down, talk about the nation, and ask him questions to improve his chances of winning the election.
El-Nafaty claimed the group chose to support Atiku following a comprehensive analysis and review of each of the three leading Presidential contenders.
According to the group’s assessment, Atiku is the only presidential contender with the guts, attributes, capacity and ability to lead the nation to the necessary level.
There is some level level of National acceptance for Atiku. He is a first-class nationalist who supports Nigeria’s unity and indivisibility. He is a patriot.
